Engineering Geologist
We are currently seeking an engineering geologist with a geology focused degree, ideally with some experience in the following:
- preparation of geotechnical desk studies and walkover inspections
- geological mapping
- development of conceptual ground models
- geotechnical logging of engineering soils and bedrock
- assisting with the preparation of ground investigation reports (GIR) and geotechnical design reports (GDR)
- assessment of the stability of rock faces and soil slopes
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, highly motivated and enthusiastic. A valid full UK driving license is required. We will offer a competitive salary for this full-time, site and office based position. This is an ideal opportunity to work within a small, independent consultancy based in Tavistock, located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
